Sh2-91 The Other Veil Nebula
Sh2-91, the Other Veil nebula, is part of supernova remnant G65.2+5.7 which stretches almost 600 light-years across. This portion covers about 230 light-years. The supernova remnant is about 2,500 light-years from Earth. It is thought to be very old, with some estimates as much as 400,000 years.

Sh2-91 is considerably fainter than the commonly known Veil Nebula. To get a clean capture of the fainter detail, 3nm filters are required as well as about 10 hours of total integration tme.
