M20 Trifid Nebula
The M20
Trifid Nebula is a star-forming region located over 4,000 light-years
from Earth. The object sports an unusual combination of emission nebula
(red), reflection nebula (blue), dark nebula (black), along with
an open cluster of stars. For this image, I decided to also
capture the Ha regions that surround this nebula (light
brown) by using an Ha filter.
